A4e offer a Brokerage Service to people receiving individual budgets. The service consists of Support Brokers whose role is to help people plan and organise the support they need to be independent.

The Support Broker will ensure that the service user is fully involved and in control throughout the process of putting together a care package and its delivery ensuring that the services are the right ones for the service user and reflect their personal preferences.

A Support Broker can provide assist with the following:

• Help in the support planning process
• Help in putting together a support plan that fits the service users needs
• Help to cost the plan to ensure costs are kept within the budget
• Getting the services up and running smoothly
• Help if the service user wants to make changes to their support plans.
