Meet the A4e Team in North Tyneside

Hello and welcome to the A4e Direct Payments Support Service for North Tyneside. A4e have been working with North Tyneside Council since April 2009, supporting clients to manage all aspects of their Direct Payments and to date have supported almost 300 individuals to access Direct Payments. The team is managed by Sara-Leigh Squires who you may have already met in her previous role as an Independent Living Advisor. We also have our dedicated Independent Living Advisor, Lesley Richardson who joined the team in February 2010 and our Administrator Alex O’Sullivan is our newest edition. Each member of the team brings something different to their role and to the support service we provide and work closely together to ensure that they are delivering the highest quality service.

Our aim is, working closely with North Tyneside Council, to provide an excellent comprehensive advice and support service to people in North Tyneside who wish to take more control of their care and personal assistance needs and lead an independent life.

Financial Monitoring

…along with ongoing advice, guidance and support with your Direct Payment
We can also provide advice and guidance on Managed Accounts in liaison with your Care Manager.

We have provided for information blank copies of all of our recruitment paperwork including a Job Description, Contract and Risk Assessment. Your Independent Living Advisor will be able to guide you through each document at your next visit, or if you are happy to do so these can be completed and sent back to A4e once compelted.

To further provide support with your Direct Payment we would like to invite you to our upcoming Peer Group.
