Meet the A4e Team in Plymouth

The Plymouth Direct Payments Team are now fully staffed, we have successfully recruited two new Independent Living Advisors and a Personal Assistant Support Advisor which now brings our team up to nine members.

We currently work with over 900 Service Users in the following areas to name but a few:

• Supporting to individuals to identify their needs
• Support Brokerage
• Explaining and assisting with any paper work
• Opening a new bank account
• Managed Account Service
• Recruiting own personal assistant
• Keeping records
• All recruitment queries
• Choice of payroll service that can support with operating Tax, National Insurance, holiday pay

We also run the Personal Assistant Common Induction Standards Course, we deliver this is a two day interactive workshop, which covers all 8 Standards. Personal Assistants will get a Certificate of Attendance and the Skills for Care is issued upon completion of the course.
