AND providing the essential administration support, at the heart of the team, is Ayshea Jackson.

Our team of Advisors bring a wealth of experience in Direct Payments processes and independent living. Working in partnership with Sheffield City Council, we are committed to providing a high quality, self-directed support service to all disability client groups across the City of Sheffield. Our emphasis is on providing a person centered approach to individuals, promoting their independence at all times.

Our contract is to empower individuals to make choices in the way their care and support is delivered and provide advice and support necessary to:

• help individuals set up systems to properly manage a Personal/Individual Budget made through a Direct Payment
• assist in setting up a recruitment and selection process - advertising, application forms, interviewing and appointment of a suitable person
• set up systems for the ongoing employment of a Personal Assistant
• help the service user/carer understand all the statutory financial, legal and employment obligations arising from receiving a Direct Payment and/or employing a Personal Assistant.
